Happy Birfday

Loops perfectly in iTunes. Enjoy teh burfday!!1!

Qelaion responds:

Thank yaw.

You were going for Triphop (I read)

It's got a lot of potential as an ambient piece, very meditative. I like it. As for hippity hoppity, it's not my thing.

Qelaion responds:

Yeah I'm not too big on the hiphop side of music to be honest, but oldschool drum breaks and such always catch me. I honestly don't even know why I mentioned triphop in the name, I was thinking more glitch-ambient but I was in a rush to save the file.

Thanks for reviewing!

Awesome!

I love this, the clicks seemed a bit out of place at first, but they work, it just took a bit of re-listening. :D

Qelaion responds:

Thanks. I have to agree, the song does take a listen or two extra to kick in correctly :P

/me smiles :P

Awesome amount of work, great piece of music... For added epicness consider varying the spectrum of frequencies you use? Just a hunch. Good stuff :D

Or4nges responds:

That'd be hard :P At all times this song pretty much takes up the entire sound spectrum. That's why there's a few breaks here and there lol.

Thanks man!

Glitchy, very Glitchy

You said this is Psychedelic Trance? I'd rather call it full on Glitch! :D Great song b.t.w. =P (I know it's probably irrelevant, but yeah, I'm weird like that)

DreamEater responds:

haha thanks a lot bro ^^
im glad you enjoyed the "Glitchy Goodness".

Good to hear from you again

Ah, optimism... often good, sometimes a thorough bitch. Great song b.t.w. :D, good to hear a positive vibe in this one. Hope this doesn't come across wrong, but I like how inorganic this sounds.

As a side note, I like both organic (inconsistent wave shapes, lots of reverb) and inorganic electronic music, as long as the instruments used are true to themselves, not trying to be what they're not.

culmor30 responds:

What do you mean by inorganic exactly? I just layered some nexus presets for the synths, lol.

Excellence is This

... yes it is a cold world.

Most importantly, a great atmosphere in the music. The crickets and rain (and waves?) really add depth. Good use of side-chaining. Strings were done right.

You made my week. Hope you get some warmer weather soon.

Mrmilkcarton responds:

Gettin warmer everyday.

Beautiful, Contemplative

Awesome music, congratulations :D. IMHO 8 minutes isn't too long for something as relaxed as this. I mean, some of the classical composers have songs that go on for longer, and they seem to have done allright :P.

Just two little clean-up pointers (if they'd matter to you):
%u2022 I hear mouse clicks. :P (e.g. at the end of the song).
%u2022 The mandolin "pluck" gets clipped a little but the panning of the pluck is an excellent touch.

5/5
9/10

X-it responds:

Wow, thanks for the kind words! And yeah the mouse click actually got caught on there by accident. I apparently have a loud mouse lol and the pluck clipping was really the best I could do at the time. If we had messed with it much more it would have distorted or been too low to make a difference imo. But again, thanks for the kind words, and the pointers, I need all the help i can get lol Check out my other stuff if you're interested and tell your friends!

Hardstyle, the way it should be.

Awesome, man. You're getting better and better. =)

culmor30 responds:

Thanks man :D
