Beautiful, Contemplative

Awesome music, congratulations :D. IMHO 8 minutes isn't too long for something as relaxed as this. I mean, some of the classical composers have songs that go on for longer, and they seem to have done allright :P.

Just two little clean-up pointers (if they'd matter to you):
%u2022 I hear mouse clicks. :P (e.g. at the end of the song).
%u2022 The mandolin "pluck" gets clipped a little but the panning of the pluck is an excellent touch.

5/5
9/10

X-it responds:

Wow, thanks for the kind words! And yeah the mouse click actually got caught on there by accident. I apparently have a loud mouse lol and the pluck clipping was really the best I could do at the time. If we had messed with it much more it would have distorted or been too low to make a difference imo. But again, thanks for the kind words, and the pointers, I need all the help i can get lol Check out my other stuff if you're interested and tell your friends!

Hardstyle, the way it should be.

Awesome, man. You're getting better and better. =)

culmor30 responds:

Thanks man :D

Yeah!

This is great, you managed to keep it crisp while going hard. Well done man, well done. :D

culmor30 responds:

:D

:D

Aced!

Isn't this more like techno? Anyhow, I only give 10s for music that has an "x-factor", sounds like you're gaining more and more xp :P.

culmor30 responds:

Haha, thanks man. I don't even know where to draw the line between techno and trance anymore. Trance used to be... you know, trancey. Not just techno with some minor variations in some sound or another.

Really well done.

Feels like cold tears and a slipping grip, into the black abyss, the blessed solitude.

But that's just what it feels like to me. :)

It might be generic...

... but I still like it a lot. :P

Heart + Style = Hardstyle :P

Good mix. The intro might have been a little long (or I might have been impatient). I appreciate the element of rock brought into this (or is that just me?).

If it's possible to put rock into hardstyle, can't hardstyle be put into rock? Know what I mean? Like the true (free, experimental and non-mainstream) spirit of rock meets hardstyle? I'm thinking in terms of game music here, what a music language that could be... the awe and fear one could strike into the very souls of the gamers (without them noticing). >:)

I'm just thinking, always thinking 'cause... I... I'm a... total GEEK you know. :P

P.S. I think in terms of game music, as I'm making a cult indie platformer in a hardcore (slightly underground) programming language.

ephixa responds:

what programming language?

And ya metal hardstyle fusion is what I'm all about cool to see you picked up on the vibe

Interesting...

Good. Though maybe this is what Pac Man sounds like in hell? :P Couldn't resist.

Extra Ordinary

Composition wise, this is awesome. Simple in design, and simply beautiful. :D

hania responds:

Thanks :)

I'm an ex-communication design student and programmer with experience in more than 13 languages, excluding HTML, XML and the like. I'm currently working on learning what I can in the Indie game industry.
